And then there were two...

No, not two babies for us...but two babies at the Fogle house. A couple of days ago we watched our niece while my sister-in-law got some sleep. She works night shift and her husband had to work the next morning, so she needed someone to look after Olivia for a little while so she could get some sleep. SHEW, it was fun, but it took Mike and I both to watch her and Addy. They are both great babies, but they are both "needy" in different ways. I say "needy" because they are both great and easy to care for, but I couldn't think of another word to use...Olivia is almost getting ready to crawl so you REALLY have to watch her. It's so cute though. She rocks back and forth on her hands and knees because she can't quite crawl just yet and all of a sudden she will throw herself forward. Addison is more alert during the day and likes to play, but she gets bored easily, so you have to be prepared to offer her something different to do once she is bored with one activity. I told Mike that it was so fun having both of them at the same time, but I salute families who have twins because I was exhausted afterwards!

My mother in law has been wanting pictures of Addy and Olivia together so the first thing we did was have a little photo shoot with their matching outfits on...
Addison found the ruffles and polka dots on her pants and we COULD NOT get her to look at anything else. We were whistling, dancing, clicking our tongues, whatever it took to get her attention, but she was fixated on her fancy pants :)
Olivia on the other hand would look at us, but she didn't know what to think about the situation.

As you can tell, Addison was amazed at her feet. She's also found her hands, which now stay in her mouth all the time

After Addy had an accident on her matching outfit, we had to end the photo shoot and make a quick outfit change while Olivia went to drink her bottle and eat some food...

Then Olivia and Pumpkin became best buddies while Uncle Mike answered some e-mails...

While Addison enjoyed the music and toys on her play mat...

She is really good at kicking her legs and playing her piano...

And she can't quite figure out who that baby is staring at her in the mirror....

After Olivia got some food, she and Addison had some play time. Olivia loved the exersaucer and Addison played with Mommy...
Addy quickly had another accident and ended up hanging out in her diaper to give the laundry fairy a little break...

We ended the day settling down to take a nap...

What a fun afternoon with our favorite little niece and our baby girl. We had a great time with them both!
