Easter 2013

This Easter was so much fun! Addison had a visit from the Easter bunny although she really doesn't understand what it's all about...not that the Easter bunny is what it's all about, but you know what I mean! As she grows older I can't wait to do a lot of the fun activities that teach her about the true meaning of Easter, but for now we simply stuck to the good ole basket from the bunny. She had a blast opening all of her goodies! Most of her basket was filled with bubbles (which she loves!) and toys to take to the beach. I also got her some other bath toys that were too big for the basket, so they are not pictured.
BTW I LOVE her basket! When we were staying at Kosiar I didn't sleep much so I surfed the web and one night I found this basket on Pottery Barn Kids and I HAD to have it! The back of it has her name monogrammed on it, which makes me like it that much more!

Mike said, "Addison, What did you think about the Easter bunny?" This was how she responded. I think he was a hit!

After breakfast we cleaned up and got ready for the day...

Love her heart, she's a momma's girl through and through. The only problem in this picture is that I am not holding her. As you can see from the pictures above, she was happy and smiling two seconds before!

My family

Then we made the drive to Lebanon to see Mike's sides of the family...Yes, both sides :) Addison has learned how to work my Iphone. Can you believe it?! She's only 8 months old!
Easter egg hunting at Mike's Granny's

Addison was cracking me up in all these pictures. She was CHEESING the whole time. I think it was safe to say she had a great afternoon Easter egg hunting!

The grand winner of the golden egg. I asked her how much was in it and she said, "A MILLION DOLLARS!!" (There was actually $5...)

my new favorite picture!

After our visit to Lebanon we jumped back in the car and headed to Nicholasville to visit my family. Addison napped on the way there...

And then she got to have Easter all over again! Her basket was almost better at Mimi and Papaw's than it was at home! Next year I'll just have to make sure there is no way we are out done ;)

Happy Easter everyone! I am so thankful for my Savior who died a horrible death and took my place. I don't deserve any of it at all, but and beyond grateful that my debt has been paid and that my Lord rose again on the third day. Praise God and HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY! HE LIVES!!
