On Sunday Mike and I were spending some MUCH needed time together as a couple and also as a family with Addison. We decided to go Christmas shopping at Oxmoor mall and it just so happened that we ran into the big man in red. We met the NICEST lady while standing in line. When we walked past Santa the first time he was on break, so we decided to shop a little longer and come back. When we came back the line was pretty long; probably about an hour wait. So we got in line but started debating whether or not we wanted to stay. The woman behind us said she was in line for her daugher in law and knew what it was like to have small children. She told us she would hold our place in line while we went and shopped and we could just come back. Really? There are nice people left in this world! So Mike and I took her up on her offer and went to Macy's to finish shopping. When we came back we were the next people in line...SCORE! She was so nice!
Addison really liked Santa. She didn't cry at all, but just looked at him like, "What are you made out out?!" It was really cute!

Hopefully next year she will love Santa like she did this year. I am hoping that we don't have one of those pictures with the SCREAMING kid and Santa!
