I'll say it time and time again-the Louisville Zoo is one of the best places for kids in Louisville! The membership pass you can buy is also one of the best ways to spend your money if you have little ones and you live in the area. We seriously take Addison at least 2 times a week in the summer. There is just so much to do, Addison learns so much each time we take her and they put together fun, fun events that members can go to for free most of the time. Last weekend they had movie night (picture a drive in except with blankets instead of cars) where they played Frozen. Before the movie they had face painting and a meet the character type thing set up. Olaf, Anna and Elsa were at the zoo and Addison was pumped the whole way there, but when we got to the zoo, she did NOT want a thing to do with Olaf. Elsa and Anna she was cool with!
We met 2 of Mike's cousins and their kids at the zoo to watch the movie with. Addison had a ball with Aaliya!
Then we settled into our seats, ate some frozen lemonade and waited for Frozen to start. We only made it through the "Let it Go" song before Addison was sleepy and ready to go, but it was still fun to meet the characters and spend time with some of Mike's side of the family.
If you don't have a zoo pass, hurry and go get one! It's so worth it!
