Last week was my fall break from school and we took a family vacation to Disney. I am SO glad we decided to plan the trip because it was amazing. Mike and I loved it as much as Addison and I was given a name of a travel agent this summer, so planning was a breeze. We were a little nervous about the plane ride to Disney, but little miss never even blinked during the take off or the landing she was a pro.
We didn't get to our hotel until after midnight but we were up and at it bright and early. We were just all too excited!
Magic Kingdom is all decorated for fall right now and it is neat! These Mickey pumpkins are what you see when you enter the park...
Addy's first look at Cinderella's castle. She gasped and said, "we're really here!" Worth every penny we paid to see her reaction the first time!
Our first ride was the magic carpets of Aladdin which are a lot like the dumbo ride if you've ridden that. This one ended up being one of her favorites from the entire trip and we rode it many many times.

Addison really loved the small world ride. She sat completely still until the end when she sat up and started dancing.
Loved the parade the first day. Addy smiled and waved to everyone...except the dragon from Sleeping Beauty. That about did her in!
That night we went back to the glass slipper restaurant to eat with pooh, piglet,eeyore and tigger. Addison was NOT a fan but we taught her to say ,"no, thank you," to the characters when they approached the table to meet herand she was fine.
The best picture we could get was with the flower arrangements of the characters. I'll take it.
THen we stopped at the confectionary and for a piece of candy. I loved all the characters as candies!
Then we topped off the first night with a little swimming and The Littler Mermaid by the pool. It was such a great first day!
