Here comes the sun!

Last weekend's weather was beautiful! After a long, cold winter it feels very nice to say it's finally starting to get warmer. We went to my parent's house to celebrate Brittany's birthday on Saturday and had a ball! Friday was beautiful too and Addison spent time at the park with her nanny and Olivia. She also went "hiking" in nanny an papaw's backyard to see the stream. Addison is definitely her father's child In that she loves bring outside.
You know March has arrived when you fill out a bracket. This year Addison's bracket is dominating! Mike would hold up crayons for each team's colors and Addison would choose a color. Mike would write the team down and so on and so on. Let's just say she's picked every upset so far. We should have registered her bracket on ESPB!

Time at the park with Nanny and Olivia. Her favorite thing to do is swing!

Spring has sprung! I love this time of the year for so many reasons, one being that local feeder/tractor stores have baby ducks and chicks. My dad scouted some out and we took Addison to see them.she was in awe. I can't blame her...they are super cute. Don't worry though, I'm not going to buy 6 like I did last year. Lesson learned!
She kept saying," look there's baby chickens right there!"
The. We went to celebrate BB's birthday at the hibachi grill close to where my parents live. You can clearly see from the picture she is unsure of the guy cooking, but when he lit the grill and the flame went up, she completely lost it. So bad that I had to leave the restaurant and take her home. Don't think we will do that again anytime soon!
Another new favorite if Addison's is chalk. She had so much fun playing outside at Mimi and Paoaw's house.
We even got to stay the night and have a cookout the next day before heading home...
And my favorite part was that Addison got to go down to my parent's farm and see the garden that dad has plowed just for her. Mom and dad recently sold most of the farm to be developed, but they kept about 20 acres. It's the farm that we had while I was growing up so it's special to see Addison running around on it. She loved the garden and kept telling dad what she wanted him to plant for her lol. It's safe to say there will be some peas, green beans, corn, watermelon, pumpkins, cucumbers, and tomatoes that sprout up soon!
Yay for warm weather!
