The end of 3 year old preschool

A couple of weeks ago we wrapped up another school year. I finished my last year of teaching (I'm venturing out as a stay at home mommy) and Addison finished three year old preschool. I have seen such growth in her this year. It's quite amazing really! She really enjoyed all of the small theme studies her class did on things such as salamanders, rainbows, bugs and water. She soaked it all in while she's at school and can explain all of the things they learned about at school when we got home in the afternoons.

This year she continued to LOVE anything art related and also found a love for Spanish. She always asks Ms. Claudia, s Spanish speaking teacher, how to say words in Spanish.

Addison also made great friendships this year. I noticed that in the twos the kids played around each other, but now they play together. She always talks about Kate, Abby and Matoki.

I'm also continually amazed at how observant she is with others in the classroom. We will be at Target, or another store, and she'll say things like," Peter would like this book because he really like Star Wars." Or "Thomas likes trains so we should get him some for his birthday."

Addison LOVED Ms. Aleisha and Ms. Maureen. I asked her what she loved about both of them and she said she likes that Ms. Aleisha always sets up the art for everyone and Ms. Maureen always helps her solve problems.  They sure helped her grow and grow this year and we are so thankful for them!!
