Addison's four year old preschool class had their first field trip last week to Jefferson Memorial Forest where they were able to learn about animals that lived in our area, as well as hike through the forest. The weather was crummy, but the kids still loved it. Addison's favorite part of the trip was when Mike taught her to use her umbrella as a net to catch tadpoles. The entire class loved the idea and pretty soon there were lots of kiddos fishing with umbrellas. Addison caught about 6 tadpoles in her umbrella and was so excited! The weather didn't keep this girl from enjoying her first field trip!
