Christmas 2013

Christmas for us is busy, busy, busy! In a good way though. We attend 4 different Christmas dinners with both sides of our families and pretty much see everyone on both sides of the family as well. We started out this year on Christmas Eve going to Mike's Grandma's house. Her house is always a good time because I swear to you Mike's Grandma is the funniest person I've ever met! I love her to pieces. Then on Christmas Day, Addison opened her presents from Santa and we headed to Mike's Granny's for a lunch, then to my parent's house for dinner. A couple days later we had Christmas with Mike's mom and dad. Shew. I'm tired just typing it all out, but we had a great Christmas with lots of time with the ones we love!
Mom and Dad's tree. This year it was candy themed. I always love their tree because it's real and it smells so good!

traveling can wear a girl out!
Santa came!!! Santa had to set up gifts all over the house because they wouldn't all fit under the tree. This year Addison was really in to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Elmo, so Santa delivered lots of Elmo and Mickey goodies!
She also got a table and chairs to go in her playroom.
and a bounce house!! We've been having so much fun with this thing!

I love this picture! Addison had just discovered her high her and cradle for her dolls and she was super excited!

Christmas at Nanny and Papa's house. Addison got a kitchen set to match the table and chairs that Santa brought her. She and Olivia had a blast playing with them. I love to watch them together because they are so sweet to one another. Don't get me wrong, they have their moments where they get frustrated, but overall they are so sweet and play so well together!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas spend with the ones that you love the most!!

Adventures of Harriet the Elf

We have really enjoyed the elf that Santa left Addison on our doorstep. Every morning Addison would wake up and yell, "OHHHHH HARRIET!" and we would be off around the house to see where our silly elf was hiding. Sometimes she was sweet, and sometimes she was a little mischievous. I captured some of our favorite hiding places...

Harriet dropped off a movie and a Christmas cookie that looked like an elf...

She got into the candy the first night at our home...

but felt bad so she made Addison some reindeer cookies the next night.

Harriet missed her snowman friends from the north pole, so she decided to make one in our freezer!

She turned our milk Christmas colors!

and had a bubble bath...

She even read a book to her snowman friends....

.
and went diving in Addison's stocking to see if Santa left anything a little early

One morning she made elf sized pancakes....

made snow angels with our splenda...

and went fishing in the potty!

One night the trip to the North Pole wore her out and she was found sleeping in Addison's doll house.

Addy alwayss had fun finding her in the mornings!

Harriet is a good example, too! She said her prayers each night before bedtime.

Silly girl made snowflakes on the bathroom floor with our q-tips.

This one was probably Addison's favorite. Harriet decorated Addison's bedroom door to look like a snowman :)

Harriet left a message in cheerios and candy canes on her high chair...

and had a tea party with Daisy Duck and baby Bell.

Harriet is also pretty athletic. She beat Elmo, Daisy, Donald and Ducky in a sack race around the kitchen.

Harriet also liked to play hide and seek. We finally found her one morning hiding on the Christmas tree pretending to be an ornament.

PRINCESS HARRIET!
One night we even found her looking inside the gingerbread house to see if any of her North Pole friends were at our house.

Addison, Mike and I all had so much fun with Harriet at our house this year! I sure do hope that Santa decides to send her back next Christmas ;)
