Rainy days

Every now and then I love me a good rainy day where I can stay inside in my pj's and watch movies. Lucky for me I've gotten about 5 of them this week! Addy and I have ventured out a little bit, but we really have been laying low at home. We have been doing a whole lot if cuddling, playing with toys, working on hand eye coordination on the play mat, enjoying splashing in the water during bath time, reading lots of books, watching football with daddy and so much more! Of course I took pictures of our lazy days this week!

I win!

So do you remember the post that I did about my fantasy football team? Remember my team was playing Mike's team last week? Well ladies and gentlemen, I WON! Not only did I win, but I kicked his little tail! The final score was 211.50 to 151.60. Oh and not only did I kick his booty, but I have the biggest win in the league once again!

Clearly I still love him even though he isn't any good at fantasy football ;)

In all seriousness Mike was a good sport. We had a lot of fun while the games were going on. We laughed and did a whole lot of trash talking! We even decided to make a friendly little bet before the games started  and I could use your help to cash in my winnings. The winner got to decide the restaurant for our next date night and I want to try somewhere that we've never been before. Do you know of any new/good restaurants in Louisville? What do you recommend?

I'm now ranked 2nd in the league and I am super excited about it!

Social butterfly

Addison has been a social butterfly lately! Mike and I have felt so bad because Addison had not met Mike's Grandma yet. She met my Grandpa and Mike's Granny, but not his Grandma. We have been trying to make it down to see her, but something always came up. Yesterday was a "down day" and we were able to make the almost 2 hour drive to Lebanon to see her.
Our wiggle worm with her great grandma Fogle. I couldn't get her to sit still...like I really expected her too ;)
It was such a great visit and a beautiful day to make the drive to go and see her!
Speaking of beautiful weather, we also went to visit Mike's mom and dad the other day and look what we found in their front yard while we were sitting outside enjoying the weather...

it's a doe and two babies. Fonda thinks that they have their home in the back of their lot and are coming up the side of their house eating walnuts. They are beautiful!

We were also able to enjoy a walk that afternoon and Addison loved it! She was so alert and attentive and talked to me for most of the walk. She would smile, coo and look at everything in sight. Her little personality is definitely starting to develop!

My blue eyed girl...

Our social butterfly also had her first facetime date with her Aunt Madi, Papaw and Mimi this past week. She is starting to mimic facial expressions, which was her favorite part of the facetime date. My dad would make a face and Addison would do the same face back at him. It was hilarious!
We finally got the chance to hang out together at home before going to a training at mommy's school....

Can't you see how we are doing a whole lot of this now...

Our trip to the zoo

Today was a beautiful day in Louisville so we decided to take our sweet girl to the zoo for the very first time.  Mike, Addison and I went with Rachel, Chris and Olivia and we had a ball! Let me tell you right now, Addison and Olivia were the CUTEST things to watch! Some of the exhibits they were fascinated with and others they couldn't have cared less about, but it is so fun as a momma to watch your baby discover new things. Addison especially liked the fish. She was most attentive when watching them swim around. Again, she loves water! Mike noticed her watching the water at the giraffe exhibit and when we saw the elephants. Something about it intrigues her! What a great way to spend our day and I have a feeling we will be making plans to go back again very soon!

my loves
I do believe this was monkeys. They were so active; swinging from rope to rope all around the room. Very entertaining!
Cousin O and Uncle Chris
The gator
I really liked the design on this turtle's shell
One of our favorites: the giraffes. The tallest one was over 15 feet tall!

Admiring the giraffes

I love this picture. They were looking at the male giraffe that is 15 feet
Aunt Rachel and Addy Bug. I caught her in the middle of blowing a bubble

My family <3
Me and my girl at my favorite exhibit: the penguins. Usually they put on a show, but today they were very calm

What a fun, fun day! I can't wait to take them back again!

Fancy Pants

Addison has acquired a new nickname from her nanny: Fancy Pants and if I do say so, it fits her quite perfectly! Well, Fancy Pants can finally fit into my favorite outfit that we have for her so I thought I would take the opportunity to take some pictures of her (imagine that!)

She looks so grown up in this picture! Oh time, slow down!

Doesn't every girl deserve a Lilly dress ;)
